Hailed as one of the greatest television series of all time, Breaking Bad tells the story of a high school chemistry teacher turned drug kingpin. In the show, actor Jesus Payan Jr. played “Gonzo,” a lieutenant to a violent Mexican drug cartel boss. Payan will describe his experiences on the set and offer insights into the making of a series that continues to captivate viewers more than seven years after its final episode.

This program will take place in the Museum’s Historic Courtroom.

Payan Jr. is best known for playing “Mexican Cartel” in feature films and network television shows such as: Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, In Plain Sight, Crash and films such as 2 Guns, Line Watch, Not Forgotten, The Reunion, Urban Justice, Inhale and Without Borders.
