THE MOB MUSEUM’S “INSIDE THE LIFE” PODCAST RELEASES GRIPPING FIRST EPISODES

LAS VEGAS (May 2024) – The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, has launched the first three gripping episodes of its original podcast, “Inside the Life,” across podcast streaming platforms. Hosted by former elite undercover agents Giovanni Rocco and Dutch McAlpin, the first episodes delve into their extraordinary careers and longstanding collaboration, offering listeners an unprecedented look into the dangerous world of undercover operations.

In “Meet Giovanni Rocco,” Rocco shares his experiences working undercover in narcotics and infiltrating New Jersey’s DeCavalcante organized crime family, famously known as “The Real Sopranos,” revealing the intense challenges and life-threatening situations he faced. In “Meet Dutch McAlpin,” McAlpin recounts his journey from beat cop to an elite undercover agent, where he infiltrated everything from outlaw motorcycle gangs to drug cartels with a high propensity for violence. The pair also discuss their most harrowing operations, how they learned to rely on each other and made critical decisions that shaped their careers in “The One with the Hot Dog.”

“We are incredibly proud to bring these first-hand stories of bravery and sacrifice to our listeners,” said Ashley Miller, vice president of marketing, communications and sales, The Mob Museum. “’Inside the Life’ not only educates but also immerses audiences in the reality of undercover work. Giovanni and Dutch’s stories are just the beginning of what promises to be a compelling series.”
