THE MOB MUSEUM TO HOST COMMUNITY SAFETY DAY: COMMUNITY EVENT WITH LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS, FREE MUSEUM ADMISSION, GIVEAWAYS AND SPECIAL ACTIVITIES SUNDAY, APRIL 24

WHAT:

The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, in partnership with the Road Equity Alliance Project and other community partners, will host “Community Safety Day” to raise awareness of traffic safety and to further educate the community on things we can do together to reduce traffic injuries and fatalities.

The Mob Museum invites the community to partake in educational and interactive experiences and demonstrations by road safety organizations and first responders. These experiences include an alcohol impairment simulation goggles tricycle challenge, a distracted driving simulator and a chance to get inside and explore a Las Vegas Fire & Rescue truck.

This event will also include a safety presentation by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, information booths, a food truck from Sandwich Brothers Delicatessen and giveaways including bike helmets and car seats while supplies last.

In addition, every individual who visits all the participating vendor stations and completes a vendor pass will receive free admission to explore all four floors of The Mob Museum on April 24. Free admission is only valid on that Sunday, April 24.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE:

The event will take place in the outdoor event plaza located on The Mob Museum’s grounds at 300 Stewart Avenue.

COST:

There is no admission fee for Community Safety Day. Guests are encouraged to RSVP, click here. Parking is available for a small fee at the Museum.
