Pot Still

Overview

The moonshine produced in The Underground is the product of a 60-gallon turnip-head pot still that echoes the booze-making equipment popular during Prohibition. Copper stills strip spirits of unwanted flavors and aromas while the alcohol content increases. The Underground’s moonshine is distilled twice, creating a 100-proof unaged corn whiskey that provides a proper foundation for some of the craft cocktails available in the speakeasy. The Museum also brews craft beers, offering something for every adult palette.
