Under the leadership of Jimmy Coonan and Mickey Featherstone, this ragtag group of hoodlums launched a reign of terror in the blue-collar Manhattan neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen and carried out contract hits for the Mafia. English will chronicle the rise and fall of the Westies, which are the inspiration for MGM+’s new television drama series “The Westies”.
