April 23: The Active Shooter. FREE MONTHLY COMMUNITY SAFETY FORUMS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LVMPD AND SPONSORED BY NV ENERGY
The Mob Museum’s monthly Community Safety Forums continue on Sunday, April 23, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Presented in partnership with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and sponsored by NV Energy, April’s event will focus on The Active Shooter. In 2014, the FBI reported the U.S. averaged one active shooter incident every three weeks. Officers from Metro’s Multi-Assault Counter Terrorism Action Capability unit will offer practical advice on how individuals can protect themselves and their families during an attack. Also, hear tips from an NV Energy representative about their organization’s life-saving training measures and ways to apply them in an active shooter situation.
Free Admission to The Mob Museum following the event to guests attending Community Safety Forums sponsored by NV Energy. Also thanks to NV Energy’s generous support, The Mob Museum will provide live streaming of the presentations on our website.
This monthly program is part of a joint Mob Museum-Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department partnership, sponsored by NV Energy, presenting a series of Monthly Community Safety Forums Sundays through 2017.
