Distracted Driving & Accident Prevention

- More than nine people are killed and 1,153 injured nationally each day in crashes that involve a distracted driver, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
- 10% of all fatalities from drivers under the age of 20 and 27% of those in their 20s are caused by distracted driving, according to U.S. Government statistics.
Officers from Metro’s Traffic Section will discuss distracted driving – what is it, how Metro can help and tips for accident prevention.
