The world faces many challenges in the war to combat extreme and radical ideologies and behaviors, according to LVMPD.

As part of the April 17 Community Safety Forum on counterterrorism, officers from the Office of Community Engagement will discuss:

  • Fusion Centers
  • Southern Nevada Counterterrorism (Fusion) Center
  • Definition of terrorism
  • Current threat environment
  • Suspicious activity indicators
  • Seven signs of terrorism
  • How to report suspicious activity via non-traditional means
