“Thankful for Locals” Promotion Offered through November 30
The following day, November 24, the Museum will resume regular hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will host Black Friday Book Signings featuring Nevada authors in its retail store from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Books include “Las Vegas Babylon” and “Lost Las Vegas” by Jeff Burbank, “Discovering Vintage Las Vegas” by Paul Papa, “Getting Off on Frank Sinatra” by Megan Edwards and “The House Always Wins” by Brian Rouff. No admission fee is required to attend the signings, which will be held in the Museum store.
Throughout Thanksgiving weekend, Sunday, November 26, the Museum will offer free admission for one child with each purchase of an adult, local (Nevada resident) ticket. The offer applies to any child or student between the ages of 1 – 18; this offer is available at the Museum box office.
In addition, the Museum is showing gratitude for its Nevada visitors by offering the following through November 30, including Thanksgiving weekend:
- Buy-one, get-one drinks (including alcoholic beverages)
- Free parking
Guests must present a Nevada ID to receive the locals’ specials, which cannot be combined with other offers.
