FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LAS VEGAS (September 2017) – The Mob Museum’s Senior Director of Marketing and Sales Ashley Miller has been appointed to the American Alliance of Museums’ (AAM) 2018 National Program Committee. The AAM represents more than 35,000 museum professionals and volunteers, institutions and corporate partners serving the museum field.
The AAM’s National Program Committee is responsible for the review and selection of program sessions for the organization’s Annual Meeting and must ensure programs reflect a thoughtful balance of topics. The committee is composed of individuals representing diverse professional expertise, regional affiliations, and types of institutions that have an overview of the entire museum field. Proposals are peer-reviewed and are given fair and honest appraisal to provide Annual Meeting participants with the most current thinking on a range of subjects.
At The Mob Museum, Miller is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, digital initiatives, promotions, sales and research. Most recently, she worked as director of communications for a real estate investment start-up focused on alternative financing and merchandising mixes authentic to the local area. Previously, she was responsible for public relations and marketing for Loews Hotels, a luxury hospitality company that operates 26 hotels in the U.S. and Canada. Miller earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in advertising and public relations from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and her master’s degree in business administration from Keller Graduate School.
