CALENDAR LISTING UPDATE: THE MOB MUSEUM TO OFFER BUY ONE, GET ONE ADMISSION FOR TEACHERS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONALS IN MAY 

LAS VEGAS (April 2014)The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, is pleased to collaborate with teachers and law enforcement professionals in service of its mission throughout the year. During the month of May, it will show its appreciation to these individuals with buy-one, get-one admission.

Nevada teachers and educational support professionals will receive buy-one, get-one admission with ID during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4 – 10. In 1985, the National PTA established Teacher Appreciation Week as the first full week of May.

Nevada law enforcement professionals will receive the same offer with ID during National Police Week, May 12 – 18. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation declaring May 15 Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which it falls National Police Week.

In addition, Nevada residents can always take advantage of buy one, get one free admission after 1 p.m. on Tuesdays. The regular locals’ ticket price for adults is $13.95 per person; discounted tickets are $11.95 per person (seniors, military, law enforcement, teachers); local children’s tickets cost $10 (ages 11 – 17) and are free for children 10 and under.*
