Committed to the Community

Town Hall Forums offer the public a chance to hear potential solutions to issues facing our community.

Town Hall Forums

To further our commitment to this community, The Mob Museum offers a series of Town Hall Forums on issues facing Las Vegas and the greater Nevada area. Town Hall-style events allow Museums like ours to invite the public into our space and engage in civil, detailed discussions  with peers and subject-matter experts.

Town Hall Forum topics for 2017 will be announced on our website when the topics are confirmed.

“One of the most important duties a museum performs is to facilitate dialogue about issues that relate to its subject matter and directly impact people’s lives.”
-Jonathan Ullman, Executive Director and CEO for The Mob Museum

“In line with the Museum’s Core Value of Commitment to Community, we feel it important to host a balanced panel of local experts who will frame the issue and provide a public forum for questions and answers.”
-Kimberly Kindig, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships for The Mob Museum

In September of 2016, our Museum hosted a Town Hall Forum regarding the Nevada ballot initiative to expand firearm background checks. To learn more about this event and to view it online, click here.
